Irene + Camilo. Denver courthouse elopement.

Last May, I had the privilege of photographing Camilo and Irene's intimate courthouse wedding in Denver, Colorado. From the moment they reached out to me through a recommendation, I knew this was going to be an extraordinary story to tell. Speaking Spanish allowed us to connect instantly, and hearing their heartfelt journey made it even more special.

Although both are originally from Colombia, their love story unfolded in the United States. Camilo had lived in the U.S. for quite some time but had only recently moved to Colorado, where he met Irene. She was working as an Au Pair and had just three months left in the country before returning home. Despite the looming distance that might have separated them, their connection grew stronger. Camilo's unwavering dedication led him to travel twice to Colombia to see Irene, chasing a love they both realized was too precious to let go. Together, they discovered that they had found something truly extraordinary.

Their courthouse wedding was as intimate as their story—a short, heartfelt ceremony lasting just 15 minutes. Following the ceremony, I captured joyful moments with their closest family and friends before focusing on romantic couple portraits. As we continue the photoshoot in the courthouse of Denver, their tenderness and deep love for one another became evident in every frame. It was a privilege to immortalize these timeless memories and celebrate their remarkable bond.

As a Colorado wedding photographer, my aim is always to preserve not just moments, but emotions—the love, connection, and beauty that couples like Camilo and Irene radiate. Whether it's a Denver courthouse wedding photoshoot or a Colorado elopement, I feel honored to transform fleeting moments into cherished treasures.
